The HCG Diet. Lose the weight...gain a healthy lifestyle
If you are seriously overweight, or if you have found that traditional diet plans have not resulted in weight loss reasonable for your efforts, then HCG may just be what you've been looking for. The HCG program has been helpful for people that need to lose 10 pounds or 200 pounds.
HCG dieters lose an average of 1 to 3 lbs per day while modifying their metabolism and eating habits for long-term results. In addition, other modalities can be used in conjunction with HCG, depending on the amount of weight you need to lose and your medical history.
The simplicity of using HCG for weight loss lies in the ease with which you can lose the amount of weight you want or need to lose without hunger, starvation or strenuous exercise. While most other diet programs require hours of exercise each day, the HCG Weight Loss Program has no such requirements and recommends only a short 30-60 minute walk per day.
Under the direction of a health care provider, HCG weight loss programs generally include switching to organic foods and daily HCG injections or oral doses. While many HCG dieters consider following the diet alone, an HCG Diet Specialist is always recommended.

The Role of the Food and Drug Administration
The primary role of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is to protect consumer’s health and to ensure safety, quality and efficacy of health products within its purview. These include: foods, drugs, psychotropic substances, narcotics,, medical devices, volatile substances, cosmetics and hazardous substances available in the country. Their role extends to evaluating tests on those products or substances that are presented to them for consideration.
As an agency they are not in the medical business. As long as a drug is safe to use it is up to the discretion of the medical doctor to prescribe it for various situations that they are “trained to understand and know the application for”. A medical doctor has the right by law to do as they see fit to handle a patient under their care and to handle the problems the patient is experiencing.
HCG has been used to treat many various health issues and has been in existence commercially for over 50 years by the medical community. However, the FDA has not approved HCG for weight loss.
The official “FDA” statement on HCG is that “HCG has not been demonstrated to be an effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity. There is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction, that it causes a more attractive or “normal” distribution of fat or that it decreases the hunger and discomfort associated with calorie restricted diets”.
